Allen started in Real Estate in 1986 and opened Canaan Realty in 1989 as a full service Land and Farm Real Estate Brokerage. Over his numerous years in Real Estate, Allen has negotiated sales for local, national, and international clients. He often works with other brokers who are seeking land advice. Allen is a former military officer with a computer programming degree. He is a lifelong resident of New York State and proudly served in the National Guard (joining at age 17). Allen currently resides in Central NY with his wife Jill of 24 years where they raise their four children. He is also a current member of Eastern Hills Bible Church. Allen is a member of the Greater Syracuse Board of Realtors, Capital Region Multiple Listing Service, Buffalo Niagara Multiple Listing Service, Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, NY State Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.
